Day 17 - Its a wet day, very wet!
Monday 22nd July 2002.

Liam DS (5) - the chicken strip eater.
A big struggle to get the kids up and out of bed. So Breakfast in the room and on a bus for MGM for 09:30 was no mean feat. Into the park and first up eas Start Tours. I was surprised it had taken us so long to get around to doing. Still a great simulator ride, any rougher or jerky and I would turn green. I did not used to be like this, I must be getting old. J
The Backlot Tour was next and we strategically placed the kids on the left hand side of the truck, which by memory was closest to the action at Catastrophe Canyon. Great ride, not as impressive as I remember it to be, but it wake the kids up.
The kids lost themselves in Honey, I shrunk the kids movie adventure set, chill time for them dont want them over stimulated. We made the next showing of the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. Just watching Liams face was a treat, the open jaw expression during the opening sequence brilliant. We grabbed a bite to eat at the Backlot Express. This is one of my favourite fast food places at Disney.
A little retail therapy was called for by Kerri, then we headed back to the AS Movies. We quickly grabbed out swimming stuff and headed for the pool as the thunder clouds gathered. One hour later we were out of the pool due to lighting. Back to the room to chill and watch some toons. We had dinner at the FC , it was still raining. No need to worry, Liam did get his Chicken Strips. Early night due to some very heavy rain and spectacular lightning.
09:30 pm and light out, it must be WDW.
Tomorrow - Pool Time!
