The phone rang at 7.00am and once we had come to life Tricia asked me how I was. I looked at her rather strangely, I thought this a weird question. She went on to say I had been hallucinating last night. I didnt have a clue what she was talking about. Apparently last night when Tricia had been in her bed for 5 minutes we had a conversation which went like this:
Me : What did you say?
Tricia: Nothing.
Me : What are you doing?
Tricia: Nothing.
Me : Who was that?
Tricia : What are you talking about?
Me : Who was that? Who are you talking too?
Tricia : Im not talking to anyone, theres nobody here.
Me : Im sorry, I must be hallucinating then.
After that it seems I went quiet!!! Ive always talked in my sleep, once lost my head but thats another story, but Ive never hallucinated before.
Anyway, I got up and announced to Tricia that I WAS going to buy that trolley that Ive been wheeling round shops for two weeks. While Tricia was getting ready I went over to the food court for drinks. I had just crossed the bridge and was going to turn right as normal when I come across tape blocking my way. The tape says DANGER KEEP OUT I had to turn left and go the other way round Parrot Cay Island. I walked very quickly because I convinced myself that the danger must mean snakes. I have an overactive imagination at times. While I was at Old Port Royale I went into the shop, they dont sell the trolley. When I came out I remembered about the danger on Parrot Cay Island and decided I was not going to cross it. Which way should I go? I considered going to the right, through Martinique, Barbados and Aruba but then remembered getting an insect bite on one of the bridges there at night time at the beginning of the trip. I turned to my left and walked past Trinidad North looking over to Jamaica as I went thinking it would be so much easier for me if they had another bridge, Jamaica was so close yet so far. When I eventually returned Tricia was ready and we went to the bus stop to go to MGM.
When we got to MGM we went and got a fast pass for Tower of Terror and then went into the Villans shop and bought some cookies and then headed to the Great Movie Ride. The ride was good and once again I was terrified at the Indiana Jones section and did my sitting with my eyes closed with my head practically on the floor routine. After the Movie Ride we went to Tower of Terror, I love this ride and Im going to miss it when I go home tomorrow. I wish they would build one in Scotland, they do have similar but they forgot to put the building round it, its more like Dr Doom except you go up slowly and then they drop you, so really its nothing like Tower of Terror. We went to Indiana Jones show next. Headed to the shop to buy my trolley and discovered they dont sell it in MGM so I bought pyjamas instead. Tricia bought another photo album and she also spent $149 on scrap booking things after I said it would look nice in her albums. When we got out the shop I looked at Tricia with my pitiful face and suggested we go to Epcot because they do have it. I walked it round the shop for 15 minutes yesterday before I decided not to buy it. She looked like she was going to moan so I reminded her that I returned to the Polynesian Resort with her so she could buy a coconut bag, okay, so it was 6 years ago but who cares. We left MGM and walked over to Epcot and I bought my trolley, bath stuff and some jaw breakers. Left Epcot and dragged ourselves to the bus stop. When we got to the bus stop Tricia gave me her bag to hold, I couldnt believe how heavy it was, for a moment I felt guilty that she had carried it all the way from MGM.
We decided to get off the bus at Old Port Royale and get some lunch. Cant remember what we had but I do remember it was really hot outside and I packed all Tricias shopping and my own into my trolley and headed back to the room. We crossed Parrot Cay Island, the danger signs were still up but I was too hot and bothered to care and Tricia was with me, she would have wrestled with any attacking snakes and I had my trolley to hit them with. Made it off the island safely and discovered they were cutting back the trees and greenery so this was obviously what the danger was.
When we got into the room we decided to pack. This was when my next dilemma started. What if my trolley was too big for hand luggage! I started to pack my holdall and then panicked again that I would be made to check my trolley into the hold and my hand luggage would have to be a carrier bag. Searched all the Virgin information and found luggage measurements. We are sure my trolley will get on as hand luggage so I continue packing. Stop again with another panic, what if my trolley is fine for hand luggage on the Virgin flight but too big for the British Airways flight back up to Glasgow. I decided it would be but then worried that it might be too heavy. Considered phoning Customs House and asking if they had scales so I could weigh it but then thought about the walk to get there and decided against it. In the end I unpacked my holdall, put my trolley into the holdall and took my original hand luggage out.
After the packing fun was over we went back to MGM and watched the parade. After the parade we went back to the Villans shop so Tricia could buy fudge to take home. If the luggage wasnt over the weight limit before hand then it will be now, you just dont expect fudge to weigh so much, bought sweets too. The rain started when we were in here and very quickly it was bouncing. When we left the shop we ran over to Beauty and the beast theatre. Saw Four for a dollar and they were well received by the crowd. Beauty and the Beast was beautiful but once again the late comers who arrive and stand in front of you for ages before sitting down drove me insane. After Beauty and the beast we went on Tower of Terror and when we came off it was still raining so we went and joined the queue again. I decided that this time I would do a thinking pose for the photo. I did this and I am sure I looked great, unfortunately I couldnt be seen in the picture because the person in front put his arms in the air and I was missing from the photo.
Headed on up to the Hollywood Hills Amphitheatre for Fantasmic, got some caramel popcorn which only came in a souvenir bucket and some drinks and then found a wet bench in the Mickey section. We sat in the rain watching the CMs brush the water off the benches as people arrived. Numerous announcements were made that the show may be cancelled due to the weather, thankfully it went ahead, albeit in the rain. Enjoyed Fantasmic for the last time and headed back to the bus stop.
Watched some TV before going to bed, cant believe that we are leaving tomorrow, the past two weeks have just flown by. Set the alarm for 8am.
