Up bright and early again after having breakfast in bed and were outside Blizzard Beach for 8.40am. They started letting people in at 8.45am, we got another bar code, filled the mug and joined the huddle at the rope. The rope was dropped at 9am and we got loungers in front of the wave pool under an umbrella. We went to the raft ride first and walked straight on, this ride is so cool, way better than the one at Typhoon Lagoon. After this we went in the lazy river, did a full circuit and then I went off to do the slides. Managed to get a lovely graze on my knee when I was trying to get on my mat at the slide next to the racing one. (sorry, I cant remember what it is called). Tricia was waiting for me at the bottom and said that someone didnt put their mat onto the conveyor belt properly causing it to jam and everyone that came afterwards tossed their mats on top. The result was a huge pile of mats and a CM with steam coming out her ears!!! She was shouting at the guests to stand in a line holding their mats until she had cleared the backlog. The result of this was the queue over spilled into the ride where 8 people race. Someone tried to put their mat on the ground and she screamed at them to pick it up and get in the line. Tricia said if she had spoken to her like that she would have dumped the mat at her feet and told her if she had asked properly she would have had a chance. What I would have said if she had shouted at me cant be printed on here!!! Had lunch next and then went back in the lazy river. Left Blizzard Beach about 12.30pm and returned to resort.
Once we were changed we got the bus to the Magic Kingdom, we bought some fudge and found a spot on Main Street for the parade. The fudge was gorgeous, couldnt eat too much though. One of the people next to us was celebrating her birthday so we all sang to her and then her family let of party poppers. We couldnt believe our eyes when an adult walking down the street stopped to pick up the streamers that were lying on the ground, had it been a child I could have understood, maybe its just me but I thought this was a bit extreme, picking up things off the ground for souvenirs. The parade was great, we had always seen this parade from outside City Hall and never knew that it stopped for guest interactions. After the parade we went into the Camera shop place to cool down and watched the old cartoons. At 4pm we got our wristbands for e-night and then left.
We got the monorail to the Poly resort, had a quick look around and then got the bus to Downtown Disney. The bus stopped at the Grand Floridian and a few people got on. An older man stood at the bus door and said to the driver Shell just be a moment Well, when she arrived he put out his hand, she placed her hand on top and stepped gracefully onto the bus, she was wearing a black evening dress and high heel shoes and I nearly choked. This woman WAS my image of Veronica!!! And at the Grand Floridian too!!!
Had a McDonalds at Downtown Disney and then did some shopping and finally got a present for my gran. Returned to Caribbean Beach so we could dump the shopping, didnt want to have to cart it around at e-night. Got bus back to Magic Kingdom and managed to catch Spectro Magic for the last time this trip. On this magic niiiiight, a million stars Sorry, just reliving fabulous memories.
E-night was fun. Did Buzz four times, still never managed a decent score, had a final round on the TTA and then got a turkey leg and did some people watching. Went over to the other side of the park and went on Haunted Mansion. This ride has really spoiled me now for the pathetic things they pass off here as ghost trains. Had 3 rides on Big Thunder Mountain, the second ride was with the noisiest people ever who kept screaming for everyone to put their hands in the air, naturally I joined in and screamed with them, they reminded me of my old bosss sons. When we got off they turned and thanked us for waving our arms in the air, they said we were the only fun people on the ride with them. Had to laugh at Tricia giving it yeah, no problem. Every time they turned back round she put her arms back down and held on for dear life. Rode Splash 3 times, Tricia still doesnt like the drop. You would think she would like it now the amount of times she has been on it. Splash was our last ride at Magic Kingdom. We left the park when e-night finished and headed to the bus stop after having a last look at the castle. The bus was waiting for us and when I sat down I realised with horror that I had missed Everyone Loves Raymond and it wouldnt be on tomorrow. I hope they start showing it again in the UK soon.
Soon back at resort, set wake up call, have to make the most of tomorrow because its our last full day. The last thing I remember saying to Tricia is Do you think I should buy that trolley?
