Day 12 Universal (or Jaws the revenge Part Ten).
Wednesday 17th July 2002.

Well the alarm went at 7:00am. Suzanne almost killed the alarm clock.
The troops slept on. I woke again at 8:15am and then tried to slip out of the doorto get the coffee. Wee, things in our room seemed to have rearranged themselves through the night. So due to much stumbling and muttering I woke Suzanne. She asked what I was looking for and promptly told me she had tidied the refill mugs and they were now under the table. After coffee and breakfast in the room, we were off albeit slightly later than planned.
We arrived at Universal for 10:00am and promptly took the preferred parking option. We were soon through the gate and headed for our favourite ride and soon to retire The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbara. It was still great ten years on.
Next up was E.T., it was already busy so we decided to Express Pass the ride. While we were waiting for our time to come round, the children enjoyed letting off some steam in Fievels Playland. Boy, it was turning into yet another hot, hot day. E.T. has changed quite a bit if our failing memories serve us right. A very good ride we all agreed, yes even the children liked it. :O Suzanne had not realised that E.T. said your name at the end of the ride. Liam then guided us to Woody Woodpeckers Nuthouse Coaster. While waiting in line Kerri noticed Curious George Goes to Town. Well, the children lost themselves for ages, it took at about ten minutes just to find them to get their trainers off them. We wished we had listened to advice and brought their swimming costumes or a change of clothes with us. It was not too much of a problem as it only took about fifteen minutes to dry their clothes, I did say it was hot today.
Suzanne managed to convince the children that they would like Back to the Future. I was not so easily fooled, Last time I came off that ride I had to sit down just to stop myself form being sick. I offered to get and get Express Passes for Liams most look forward to ride Jaws. The wait time was only fifteen minutes so instead I got EP for Earthquake instead.
When I met up with the troops, everyone had enjoyed BTTF (fools the lot of them!!). We then headed for Jaws. The queuing area and the build up was great, our cast member was very good. It still makes me laugh thinking about Liam trying to crawl over me in an attempt to get away from the shark (and he has sitting inboard). Liam got off the ride and then promptly decided that he wanted to go back on again. It was now time for our Earthquake EP. I did not think it was quite as good as the first time we did the ride, but I had two children to watch and entertain me this time.
Liam reminded us that he wanted to go back on Jaws. Kerri said that she would like to go on E.T. again. So we slit up and headed our respective direction. Liam and myself did Jaws another three times. I got very wet and Liam still jumped on que third time round. We would still be there if Liam had anything to do with it.
When we all met back up again we had a bite to eat Mels Drive-In. We then decided to head back to the AS Movies as everyone was feeling tired. We did our usual thing room, then pool then Food Court. Liam did have his chicken strips and the rest of us had a large Pizza to share. Lights out by 10:30pm. Busy day tomorrow.. .going to get some frost bite
