Our holiday to Florida involved 4 nights in Orlando, then an 11 night cruise from Miami to Barcelona. I will be doing a day by day breakdown of the Orlando part, then a general review of the Cruise as it wasn't on Disney Cruise Line.

DH and I both finished work on Tuesday evening, and rushed in to central Liverpool to the Empire to see “Singing in the Rain”. We both enjoyed it, it didn't quite live up to the film (how could it really, it is one of my favourite films ever!) but was great fun, especially when the cast did a Finale of Singing in the Rain, complete with water (12,000 litres, apparently)... the first few rows got very wet, but we were in the circle quite safe! DH and I just kept looking at each other saying “This time tomorrow we'll be in Orlando” and not quite believing it!

We arrived home and I started doing some last minute packing.... but where was Richard? Turns out that on walking in to the kitchen to make a coffee, he had discovered our own scene from Singing in the Rain....... water was all over the floor, leaking from under the sink. One clearout of the u-bend later, we had to wash all the towels and mop up the mess. Not an ideal way to spend the night before our holiday, but far better than coming back to a mess, and probably an insurance claim, after two weeks away...

I also managed to do OLCI for our Virgin flight, and was disappointed to discover we had been moved from the Bubble. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now, I would investigage in the morning.

So, finally, off to bed, dreaming of Disney :-)
