Day 1 Of The 4 Day "Parade" Taping

It was "Cheerleader Day".

From Town Square to The Hub HUNDREDS of them!

They did a great job in HOT conditions.

The Main Street USA Bypass was open AS WELL as an entrance to the Bypass on Center Street.

The FUNNIEST thing happened at BTMRR before the taping began.

We were on the part of the track that the Queue overlooks and a group of Cheerleaders in the Queue were waving at us and "cheering" for us as we passed by.

There was a couple in the seat behind me and the woman said to the man:

"Well,Honey,that's the first time Cheerleaders have Cheered for you for anything."LOL

TOO funny!

Everybody is being tightlipped about the Celebrities-if anyone knows they are not telling,

Tomorrow, is Main Street set to be closed during the day? I assume they have to open it around sunset for the MVMCP.

Not sure of the taping schedule today,but Main Street USA will be open well before MVMCP-FoF is scheduled for 5:00 PM.

Even when they are taping,the sidewalks are open as well as the Bypass.

I think I've heard today is the concert tapings, so that might be more in the hub.

Dream Along With Mickey is still running their regular schedule today and tomorrow. So, the Hub probably won't be impacted until Tuesday.

When does the parade taping end? We arrive on Thursday and it would be good to know so I can avoid MK when they are filming.

Tomorrow is the musical act. Ariana Grande and someone else. The actual parade is being taped Tuesday morning. I was at this mornings dance part with Olaf. Super cute

Here is a picture of the Cheerleaders.

It was quite a sight to see.

They were throwing some of the Cheerleaders higher than the rooftops on Main Street!

Can't wait to see it "live" on Christmas day.

We were in the store on the corner of Center St. Tuesday the 9th. They were filming Ariana Grande's bit right outside. Through the window the stage was only 10 feet away. I stepped out onto the sidewalk and watched for a minute until the CMs told me I couldn't stay.

I didn't know who it was until I looked her up just now!

It turns out there were 800 Cheerleaders from 41 states!WOW!
