Update of all Updates....​

Alright, well.. I have officially turned in my paperwork to the church and they called me back already! Talk about service! ha. I love when I get speedy call backs. We have a meeting on June 28th with the Pastor's assistant in which we get to sit down and talk with her about the wedding ceremony, restrictions, and how the church works it. So, we FINALLY have a ceremony venue!
Unless once they see me and my tattoos they decide they don't want me anymore? haha

We've been working a lot on my engagement party stuff. So far I've ordered my transfers for my bridesmaids shirts and mother of the bride/groom. DF ordered his groomsmens shirts.. and after much arguement.. without me saying anything about it.. he ordered teal ones! When he originally wanted black and I totally rose a stink about it! Woohoo! We're working on centerpieces... I have a few ideas in mind and we've decided to go the flower root. I wanted to use the characters but I just can't afford it.. and friggn Bo Peep is one rough lady to track down! Once I get the transfers in don't worry.. I'll post lots and lots of pictures!
I also wanted to create special pins for my Maid of Honor, Godfather, Godmother, and Grandmother to wear.. but right now I'm not necessarily getting along with my idea. So we had a little bit of a lover's quarrel and I left them sitting on the counter. If they're in the garbage by the time I wake up.. I really don't care? ha. I'm also 'growing my balls' as I told my father.. oh those lovely aquabeads.. hehe. They're about 2 hours in and I LOVE them! Definitely going to be using them everywhere I can! hehe.
I DID get to make my hair flower for the engagement party though! Once I get a good pic of it I will deifnitely post and share along with the hairstyle that I really want! Woohoo!

Aside from all that fun stuff.. I've officially kinda hit panic mode.. probably about the last 10 minutes it has hit. I am one year and 4 months away from my wedding.. and I pretty much have NOTHING done that I need to have done. haha. I have so many DIY projects that I want to do and I haven't started diddly for the wedding! I need to start up my own DIY fund.. and get to saving and working! I need to make myself 2 piggie banks to start putting change in! Get my butt in gear! Aoy. If only I had a better job..

I still haven't had much luck in the job department. But I have some awesome MaryKay specials going on this month so hopefully something will turn up!! Bah. Fingers crossed!!

OMG how did I forget to mention this? I figured the other day I'd call and see when my dress is due in the store. Just because I'm in my if'y stage again. BAHA. =X *ducks from Amber* Well, she's due in during the second week of August. Eek.

Alright, well I was recently browsing dresses online and came across a dress I had tried on awhile back and it made me think of the lovely Miss Mindy. And I uploaded the picture to show her myself in the dress.. and realized I NEVER showed you ladies any of these pictures from this adventure! haha. I did try on my dress at the end and liked it the best. But there were 2 other contenders from that day as well. haha. But nevermind! Here's some pictures for your viewing pleasure!

this is the one I had told Mindy to check out. It comes in a GORGEOUS pink color!

Hate, Hate, HATED this dress. Too generic. Too girlie. Too eh.

This dress I really liked. But I couldn't get past the curtain-esque edging on the bottom. Kills the entire dress! ha. But LOVED that cathedral veil! Isn't she a beaut??

Okay, I'll be honest.. I kinda loved this dress? The crinolin was HUGE under it so I woulda liked it to be smidgen smaller. But the uniqueness of it I loved. The posed picture in the chair my consultant made me do. She said I looked 100000x better than the model in the picture. And insisted to tell me that I was seriously, truly and honestly the ONLY person to ever try that dress on in the store and actually be able to pull it off. ha. I do love the dress and have oogled it NUMEROUS times in the magazine. But it wasn't yelling at me either.​

So I just figured I'd give you girls a little bit of visual eye candy. haha. My dress should be in in August and I have a few ideas on how to customize it and hopefully make it super unique and my dream dress combining all of the elements that I love. haha.

Aw, yeah. I take pictures ALL the time. Plus when I look at these I see how lost I look in some of them and how you don't see ANY of my figure. lol

Alright, so we had a meeting with our church last night and it went really well. I am in love with how they redid the church. I wish I had before and after pictures to show you all. You'd be just as amazed as I am that it is in fact the same church. There really is only one thing that upsets me about the church, money. I feel like all they do is plug $$. It sucks. But what're you going to do? There's not many other options we have. We have 2 precana things that we have to attend that are $100 EACH. Then I believe 2 meetings with the pastor before the wedding after those meetings are attended. So. Not too bad. PLUS their going to give us their florist's phone number so that we don't have to purchase additional flowers. I can contact them and just tell them what colors I have or want and they'll make the main arrangement. If I wanted I can get 2 additional smaller arrangements.. which I'm debating on but not sure if I want to go that route. lol. Saving money is saving money. Especially when I know flowers are coming out of my pocket. ha. But Dave saw the church for the first time and he said it's gorgeous. So that definitely made me feel better.

So it has been absolute chaos on the homefront! Our engagement party is a week from Saturday and I still haven't received my shirts just yet! =X Well I ordered blingy decals so I'm waiting for them. I already have the shirts and I'm waiting as patiently as I can. I'm hoping to get them and get them done over the holiday weekend since I have a 4 day weekend!

I did get some badges done for the party though! I wanted to make my Maid of Honor stand out from the other BM's so I made her a little pin. I also made one for my dad since he didn't want a tshirt! He was afraid I'd bling it out a bit. I would never do such a thing! ha. Also made one for my grandma, godmother and godfather.

I even made a flower for in my hair! I can't wait to see what we come up with. It pays to have a hair stylist as a friend! She's coming over early that day to do my hair.

We are a bit worried about my cake though. We ordered it from ShopRite (my father works for the company who owns ShopRite and my mother works there as well). We always get our cakes from there and my mother has known the bakery manager for years (he was just relocated to our local store!). But as of late there have been a lot of complaints coming back about messing up orders and such and my order is way beyond normal. So I'm a bit nervous. My mother's friend is at the point where she is going to come in on her day off to make sure it's perfect. Needless to say my dad's talking to them this week and I will be in next. If they mess it up, there will be he11 to pay! Somebody will loose their job. They messed up my BIRTHDAY cake once. Who woulda known it was that hard to check spelling on the sheet where we wrote it down! This was years ago.. and I just chalked it up. But my engagement cake is one thing you don't want to mess with.

That's all for updates right now.. I've been searching for wedding shoes and haven't been able to find much that I love. And I will have more crafts to show you this weekend! Tomorrow we're attacking 130 cupcake flags!! Eeks! Thank god we have about 5 people willing to help. Hellooooo assembly line!
