I rented points before, but it was through someone who posted in the points for rent section. It worked out great! We even were able to charge to our room, if we rent from David's will we be able to charge to our rooms?? Thanks

Yes, it works like a regular DVC reservation and you will be able to charge to your room if you put down a credit card when you check in.

that is a WDW resort benefit - not a DVC benefit. you get that with any WDW resort.
