I use Dave's Point Manager and it is wonderful to track my point usage. I was looking at his site where you download new versions, and it does not look to me like Saratoga Springs points are there yet, or am I missing something. I also looked for a spot where I could e-mail him directly and didn't find one. Anyone know if his program has been updated to include Saratoga yet?

So as not to slight anyone, I also use CaskBill's to plan and dream of all my trips to come.

I still owe both you guys a drink for all you do.

Hi Everybody,

Dave, DH, hasn't had time yet to update the Saratoga Springs points. I've been keeping him busy with a remodel on our family room! We're just about done and I'll have him get busy on it. And I'll make sure to post to the board when its ready. If you need to e-mail us its DMFredrick@aol.com.

Thanks for the response. At least I know I was looking in the right place and not missing something. Sounds like your Dave is a jack-of-all trades. Good luck on the remodel and tell Dave we anxiously await his update for Saratoga.

Hi, I ususally help Dave with updating the point schedule. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the SS point charts yet. Is it up on the member site, if so I'll try to get to it this weekend, and email to Dave F, so he can have it posted next week for everyone. I'll defer to Dave F to modify the program itself to accomodate SS in the drop down window in the program.

I have seen a link to the points chart, but can't find it without search. I know that there have been lots of folks that have closed at SSR already that might be wanting to get their contract information loaded into the program.

You guys are really, really appreciated.

UPDATE:

I found the SSR point chart on the DVC member site. I printed it, and made the file for Dave F's program. I emailed it to him this morning. (after checking it for accuracy).

I am sure that Dave F. will post it after he has updated his program to accomodate SSR. (When his personel schedule allows him the time). I don't write code myself, so I have no idea how hard it is for him to do.

I'll get working on the 2005 point charts for all the DVC resorts shortly, and I'll send them on to Dave F for double checking and posting before the holidays.

Thanks so much for doing this. I use Dave's program all the time for keeping track of my points. I have my points planned out for the next four years using his program (using current point values for the years beyond 2004). I use Caskbill's program to plan my next trip (I really love the little vacation report that his program prints out) and Dave's program to keep track of my points for future years. They really work well together.

By the way.........I didn't realize until doing the SSR point chart how much different it is than all the other resorts. Has there been any discussion on this on these boards ??? The grand villas are very expensive point wise, wow ??

In my opinion NOT only are new buyers paying $89 per point, they seem to need more points per stay. Am I the only one that feels this way ??

UPDATE #2;

I finished with all the 2005 point charts for the DVC resorts, and forwarded them on to Dave F.

HOWEVER, I found an error that I did last year in the point chart for Boardwalk Villas for 2004. To be specific, late November 2004. I corrected that file, and sent it on to Dave F. for reposting. I apologize to everyone that may have been frustrated working with the program in late November 2004 for BWV, and not have the points show.

I am not aware of any MAC program for DVC point management nor planning.

CASKBILL may be plannning one, but you'd have to ask him.

Caskbill's program works fine running under Virtual PC on a Mac, and I'm 99% sure that the others would as well. Of course Virtual PC is an additional expense, but it works for nearly any program that is not processor-intensive or reliant on specific hardware.

you guys are the best. Thanks for all your work on this. You really make it easier to keep up with everything.
