I do, but it's not because I am an American Idol fan. He had talent before the show with a band called Absent Element (religious connotation). The majority of the AI winners have failed, in my opinion, with the exception of Carrie and Kelly - I prefer that he didn't win. I've seen them in concert 3 times in Orlando and they've sold out every show - the most recent at HOB in a few minutes on Ticketmaster. They are fun group of guys. With any popular band, the radio stations love to run their music into the ground, which is great for them but sucks for us fans.

The thing I like about Daughtry is that they seem a little more low-key and less... well, pretentious, than other popular bands or singers. I think they cater to their fans more than their producers, etc.

Great Photo! Chris and I are fans as well and agree NOT winning AI was the best thing that could have happened to him!!

We were curious, you seem "familiar" with them, how were you lucky enough to score back stage passes???

I've been a HUGE fan of theirs ever since I first seen Chris on AI. Unfortuantely, I didn't know of him before AI. I thought he was(IS) the absolute best that that show has ever had!! I'll admit that I was very steamed when he was voted off, but I have to agree that that happening to him was the best thing ever!!!! His music is awesome and I can't wait for many more years of their music!!! Rock on!!!
