daughters flower girl dress!!

Hi!

My daughter and I had a 'girl time day' today, and spur of the moment stopped at davids on the way to lunch- and after trying on a few dresses for fun, we ordered her dress! She's so excited. She's only five, but was really requesting 'pick ups', LOL! It's white, with a red sash and we also bought a red headband (the jewels on them look a lot like hidden mickeys!). It won't be in for several weeks, and we ordered it in the next size, assuming she'll grow a lot in the next 9 months. I have to say this was JUST as exciting, if not more!, as getting my gown! I was having visions of picking out her wedding gown someday What a fun day!!

How exciting! I'll boohoo the day I have to go pick out my baby's wedding dress

My dress also has pickups on the skirt, so I ordered a blue flowergirl dress for my DD with pickups too! I also ordered it a size bigger so it will hopefully fit in Dec.
I can't wait to see pictures of your daughter in her dress! She will be beautiful!

Thanks! Yes, she requested the pickups because my dress had it- I didn't realize she must have heard me mention in quite a few times to know about it so well!! She still wants to add some white fairy wings to it- anyone know of a good place to find those??

And then we'll have to move on to the boys attire!!

Super cute dress! Love the pickups, she will look like a fiary princess! I would check out stores like Meg said that have dress up sections, also Dance Supply Shops, I teach ballet and that is where I get them for my classes
