Megan checked into the University of Michigan's C.S. Mott Hospital today for her bladder augmentation, mitrofanoff and ACE scheduled for Tuesday morning.

I always knew that she was a sick child but she has been drinking Go Lightly for the last 3 hours and she actually likes it. :rotfl2:

The hospital is very quiet so they moved all the kids into different rooms so every kid has a private room until they need to fill back up again.

The other good thing is about 5 years ago Dell donated computers with 19 inch flat panel monitor that pull down from the ceiling to be put a every kids bed.

Go. Lightly?? Ickkk!
Pixie dust and prayers coming your way; hoping she has a successful stay in the hospital.

More pixie dust and prayers for Megan. pixiedust:

What is Go Lightly or do I not want to know?

It's a salty oily mixture that makes you go and not lightly :rolleyes1

Hi Cindy, Good luck to Megan! :joker: Michael had those procedures done, and he wasn't a happy camper about it. After it was all done, we were both pleased with the outcome and wished we had done it sooner.

I hope the surgery went well this morning - best of luck to you and your daughter.

So does the computer have internet access and tv or ? Sound nice and hopefully will make the stay a bit more pleasant. :goodvibes

FYI, hopefully your daughter will never have to take Go Lightly again, but Miralax is a similar product which my DD has had to take a lot. We mix it with water and she drinks it just fine, says there is no taste to it. It sounds like your daughter doesn't mind the Go Lightly so it probably isn't an issue. I hope the surgery went well today.

Wishing your daughter all the most wonderful things and a speedy recovery. :grouphug:

The surgery went great. She went in at 8:30 am and came out at 8:00 pm.

Yes the computers have internet (I'm on it now) and they also have DVD players attached and the rooms also have TV's with cable.

I'll sleep better knowing the little lady is doing better. :cool1:

And of course you too. :goodvibes

I missed the update last night.
Glad to hear things went well.

Thoughs and prayers to you and your daughter from a fellow Michiganian.

Megan got out of her bed and in her wheelchair for the first time today. She thought she was going to die. Other then the pain she is doing great.
