Since we have been home for a week and I still haven't had time to post a trip report, I had to share the highlight of our trip...DD8 playing the piano at Coke Corner.
We went for musical chairs on our last day. When the kids get "out" playing the game they are supposed to say a joke or riddle. Well this time, the Mad Hatter said they could do a "hidden talent" as well.
When DD was out, she said she had a hidden talent (I started sweating bullets because I wasn't sure what she was going to do!
) Anyway, she said she played the piano. So the Mad Hatter looks at the guy playing the piano (can't remember his name) and tells DD -- "Well, go ahead...!" So she sat down (the piano guy put his hat on top of her hat) and got to play an entire song for everyone!
Everyone clapped and Mad Hatter and Alice told the piano guy he better watch out!
After, DD was bummed she didn't think to play Bippity Boppity Boo or It's A Small World (her two Disney themed songs)!
Just wanted to share, I thought it was such a cool thing to happen.
