Dates for the 2016 Epcot Food & Wine Festival announced!!

Just saw that the 2016 Epcot Food & Wine Festival will run from Sept 14th through Nov 14th. This is apparently a record number of days to be in session.........62 days!

My wife and I along with my brother and his family will be in WDW during Jersey week which coincides with the last week of the festival. We've never done the F&W festival...........so what is the last week like What do we need to be aware of?

I can’t wait. Had my 1st trip in December and had planned on going solo in October but a friend now wants to go. I didn’t even plan for F&WF, it just happened that I picked the 1st weekend in October due to easy vacation days at work. Now I’m even more excited to go to Epcot for 2 days than 1 day at MK with the festival. Bring it!!

The last week of F&W is fine. The booths may run out of a few things, particularly craft beers and occasionally a wine here and there. Otherwise, it's very nice, even during the last day. If you're there the last week, you might check the Festival Center. They usually have marked down Festival items for sale. (Things like kitchen accessories, sometimes tote bags and the like.)

We're going Nov 12th-19th, so I will be curious to see how the Epcot crowds are that last week. I've actually avoided F&W for the last few years.
