Date of Food and Wine Festival?

Does the Food and Wine Festival take place the same time each year? Or do the dates change? And if they do change, does anyone know when it will be next year? TIA

Looking at the dates for 2000 through 2003 (from wdwig.com) the festival has begun the 3rd Saturday in October and ended the 3rd Sunday in November all four years.

2000 - 10/21 through 11/19
2001 - 10/20 through 11/18
2002 - 10/19 through 11/17
2003 - 10/18 through 11/16

If the pattern holds, a 2004 calendar is all you need to predict when the festival will be next year.

Yes, that would put the tentative dates for the 2004 Food & Wine Festival at Oct. 16-Nov. 21, 2004.

I've revised the pattern I think is used. From 2000 through 2003 the EIF&WF lasted 30 days each year. I have no inside information about the dates for 2004, but my (revised) guess is 10/16/04 through 11/14/04.

If those are the dates, and that's a big if, that will mean it has begun on the 3rd Saturday in October and has run for 30 days for the past 5 years, sometimes ending on the 3rd Sunday in November (in 2000-2003) and sometimes ending on the 2nd Sunday in November (in 2004).

The other logical choice for 2004 seems to be for it to begin on 10/23/04 and go for 30 days to 11/21/04. All we know now is we do not know.

Sorry for the confusion. I don't remember when the dates were announced for this year's festival, but it may have been around June. Does anyone else recall?
