Hey...Ive been lurking for awhile (Im thinking before you had Braydon) but never came out...lol. I love the outfits you had on Brynn, someone made them for you? Also, how old was she on the trip? I have a grand daughter we are bringing to Disney and she'll be 8 months...so I was just curious how big she'll be?!?! Im from La also...Geaux tigers!

Glad to know they weren't scared by ITTBAB! Every time we go there, I feel so bad for all the kids who get scared...bless their hearts!

Well that stinks! Darren's job won't let him take a vacation after Thanksgiving until after Christmas because that's their busiest time. So we have to go before Thanksgiving but at least they start decorating for Christmas early!

My mom actually made Brynn's dress for her first birthday party. She was 13 months on the trip. Brayden's first trip was when he was 10 months. I didn't find it very hard at either age.

Thanks girl!! I actually have no idea where the tank top came from, I think my mother in law bought it. She buys them SO many clothes. It probably came from JC Penney a year or so ago. This kid can fit into 18 months clothes again!

Whiplash would be a great name but it's sooo fun!

Ok everyone, I'm back! Life has been pretty busy and my trip report went down on the priority list. And if I'm being honest, it wasn't the best of trips so writing about it hasn't been that much fun! But, the Halloween party pics are coming up and I'm going to finish this thing! I may need to get a pre-trip report started soon and I want this one completed first...

Tuesday, September 27th. Part 2.

Since the trip is over a year ago, the details are mostly foggy, so the remainder of this report will be mostly pictures. I apologize, the next report will be better! I can't believe how young the kids look in these pics. Here are some recent pics so you can see what I mean!

Oh, and did I mention I met Jack Sparrow. Well, in wax form but that's most likely the closest I'll ever get!

Ok, here we go! After we rested in the room a bit, we got ready for the Halloween party. We have never been to a party at Disney, so we were really excited. This is so unlike me, but I didn't get a chance to research the party more before we left, so we missed out on a LOT. We'll know better for next time I guess.

We got inside the park and there was just a small wait for Mickey so we decided to go for it! I love that they're wearing the same thing.

Notice Brayden isn't wearing any shoes?? Well, I planned on getting the black Mickey crocs that I had seen all over the park before. We looked everywhere but could only find blue ones! So that's what we had to get. He still wears them today!

New shoes!

Here's where we made our first big mistake. We didn't eat before the party! So we had to eat at Cosmic Rays, which wasted a lot of time. Next time we'll make sure to eat before the event.

Then we made another mistake! We rode a bunch of rides because there were NO wait times. So like I said, we missed out on a lot of party stuff. We did get to see Hallowishes and watch most of the parade. We had the "Boo to You" song stuck in our heads for months! We still sing it randomly. I love it, it's so catchy! For some reason I didn't take anymore pics this night, so that concludes the Halloween party. Would we do it again? Yes! Would we bring Darren's grumpy parents and bored best friend? NO!

Thanks Scott. I can't believe you've never eaten at RFC! Now that T-Rex is around, it kind of puts RFC to shame in the food department (IMO), but we still like to eat RFC at AK, it's kind of a tradition!
