DAS Reissue Question

When we visited WDW last year my son was issued a DAS with no problems at Epcot and used it on occasion along throughout the week. We were there for 9 days, touring the parks for 7. On day 6 I realized that our DAS expired that day. I don't know if I mistakenly told the CM at GS the wrong dates when I was speaking to him bc I was nervous, or if he heard me wrong, or if there is a 6 day limit, but anyhow, I went to MK GS at the end of our day on day 6 and explained to the CM and he tore up the current one and issued me another one for another 6 days, even though we would only be in the parks 1 more day and then checking out. Part of the next 6 days happened to be during Christmas week, which I know is an extremely busy time at WDW. We ended up not needing to use the DAS on our last day in the parks.

We are getting ready to leave for our trip back to WDW. I have read that the process of obtaining a DAS is easier once you have one, but I am a little nervous about requesting one if it looks like we never used it.. even though it was our second one. Do they have a record in their system of how many you have been issued, ie, will they be able to see that it was our second one? We leave in a few days so I am trying to get everything in order. Thanks for your help!

I imagine they have a record, but it wouldn't worry about it in the slightest. Lots of people get one and don't use it if they don't have to. It's no big deal at all.

I'll bet for the first one you had said you'd be in the parks 7 days and they figured it was consecutive. Next time just give them the full number. Limit is 14 days.

I only used mine twice in a fortnight, they do ask that it's used alongside FP+ so they probably wouldn't notice/care that you didn't use your last one.

They use the code on the back of the card to access your file.
The only reason they would look to see or care if you filled all the time slots would be if you were bringing in your DAS to request another one before the first expired.
