We typically have skipped the electric parade, wishes, and have never attempted fantasmic. My son has an extremely hard time waiting in one spot especially when it is really crowded.

Now that these have FP available can we use the DAS for them?

Where and when would we go to get a return time for these events?

Thanks for your feedback!

Would expect they don't. You would need to get the FP+ for the general gathering viewing (no line, so no line to schedule you to come back to) and while Fantasmic! is a theater with a wait to enter, being a once (or occasionally twice) a night event, there's nobody to get a DAS return time from.

It is my understanding that the DAS can be used wherever FP+ is available. I'm not sure how it would work with parades and shows, but I'm pretty sure that I've seen people hear mention using DAS for these.

Good luck, and hopefully someone that has used the DAS for these will pipe up and tell you how it works.

Hmm maybe it can't be used for parades and wishes. I thought maybe because of the fast pass but if not we will likely just continue to skip. Hard for him to stY put and if we send an adult to find some room it seems unfair to show up with my son later. I think we might try fantasmic by doing the meal package.

Try Facebook page----- Disney with Special Needs & Disabilities. They answer alot of questions with updated info. Not much help, but didnt want you to give up on those things

No one ever try the das for fantasmic?

Wow, I was about to respond that I recall seeing several people mention doing DAS for Fantasmic -- but when I went looking for those threads, all I can find is several people have asked about it but no reports that anyone has actually used DAS for F! Some have ended up reporting back that they used FP+ or booked the dinner package.

Presumably it's an option. I don't know how well it would help. You would be funneled through the FP+ line, which I think also includes the dinner package guests, and presumably into the reserved section. However, it will not be uncrowded. They do eventually drop the ropes and open that section to anyone at about 10 minutes prior to show time.

I suspect the experience of using DAS for Fantasmic might be similar to those who have used FP+ or the dinner package. A different entrance and reserved section, but you are still in a crowd of people. If you do end up using DAS for F!, please report back so we'll have some true experience to share.

Enjoy your vacation!

I would do the dinner package if you could. You get awesome center seating and it was not that crowded when we went. We loved it.

I think it's probably not possible to get a DAS return time for the Wishes FP+ area since there is no standby line. The area is limited in size and therefore limited in the number of people allowed in. If they issued DAS return times that would overflow the capacity.

I would just use one of your Fastpass Plus times for those if you want to try it.

As was mentioned, the Fastpass Plus area for Wishes is small. If you don't care whether you see Wishes from the front, the Fantasyland area behind the castle lets you see the fireworks part (but not the castle projections). It is usually uncrowded there and you can walk around before and even during the fireworks.
You do need to be aware that dome of the fireworks are shot off from above the Beast's castle, so they will be traveling across Fantasyland and some areas will be blocked for safety until after the fireworks end.

We used the dinner package for Fantasmic in October 2013 and used Fastpass Plus in April 2014, but saw people entering at the Fastpass Plus entrance who were using DAS both times. I don't know where they would have gotten their Return Times though (or if they even had a return time), so Fastpass Plus or dinner package are 'surer' options.

For parade viewing areas, you should be able to use/show the DAS to use those. But, they tend to get very crowded and can fill up quickly. And, once you are in there, you have to stay put. Some people gin fit works better for them to just find a spot along the parade route and use other members of their party to 'block/buffer' the person with a disability. Main Street and the castle hub are more busy; if you go into Frontierland, it is usually less busy.
