We willl be using the DAS pass for the first time in a couple of weeks. Will it show up in MDE once we get into a park? I don’t see anything on there yet. I’m not 100% sure exactly how to use it. We have been approved and have the advanced sections. Just not sure how the regular works. Thank you.

It won’t show up until the person registered to DAS enters a park for the first time.
You will be able to find a DAS ‘tile’ in My Disney Experience by tapping the three lines on the bottom right side of the bottom menu bar.
After entering the park, you might need to scroll down to see the DAS tile. When you tap it, you should see a list of ‘DAS Eligible Attractions’ and you can choose one to obtain a DAS Return Time

The first post in this thread has helpful info and has been updated as things change.

Awesome. Thank you. So does it work like a fast pass as far as you can only do certain rides with availability’s? I wasn’t sure if you could just pick a ride you want or only chose from what’s available.

no it dose not work like FP where they run out. if you can enter the line then you can get a DAS.

Not the same as Fastpass was.
You can make a DAS Return Time for most attractions in the My Disney Experience app. Unlike Fastpasses were, they are not limited in availability.
The DAS Return Time is based on the current wait time in the Standby Line - that’s different than Fastpasses were or Genie+ is; they were/are based on a number of ‘slots’ available for each attraction for each time period

You can pick whatever attraction that you want. It will take the current return time and subtract 10 minutes. That will be your return time. You have no time limit on when to get to the ride, but you can only have 1 return time scheduled. Unlike the Genie+(or old FP) you can't hold a DAS return time and then after 2 hours book another while you still have the first. 1 at a time until you use or cancel it. They don't limit how many people can get a DAS nor do they run out of "slots". I believe that would be against the ADA. Your return time will show up in your daily plans. It is hard to imagine the process ahead of time, but once you get there and see how it is done, it is super easy.
