DAS in park to get pass?

Hi there. We will be at WDW in Aug, but 30 days before when our Interview window opens, we start our Disney Cruise. I don’t want to waste four hours for this while on a cruise.

If you contact two weeks before, can you still get the pass?

Or, can I just go when I get to the park? If I can, what are the negatives to doing it that way.

Yes, you may do the video chat to request DAS any time between 30 and up to 2 days prior to your first park day. By doing it in advance you will be eligible to schedule 2 Advanced Selections for each park day.

Or you may request DAS in person at a theme park. Same DAS, works the same in the park as obtaining it in advance. Just no Advanced Selections.
