DAS Hard to Get at Disneyland/California Adventure Parks?

I have no experience or knowledge of your friends condition and how things may go for her there. But from my experience I had no issues with getting a DAS and a stroller tagged as a wheelchair for my son in CA. The woman I dealt with was great and barely wanted to know anything about our needs (but they are a more common one) and offered to tag the stroller for us before I had a chance to ask. We were there later on our arrival day (maybe 3:30 or 4pm) and it was a very smooth, quick and painless process.

She will want to explain her condition as it relates to waiting in the regular lines.
You don't need to go into great detail; figure out the most important things and explain those clearly, but concisely in plain English.

your friend may not need the DAS at all if heat and long queues are a problem. The weather should be quite nice in California in October (nothing like the humidity and heat in Florida). Also, October tends to be less crowded except on weekends and Halloween parties. Traditionally, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are quieter then Fri-Mon.

Good point, anonymousgirl. I remember being chilly on November evenings - because I was expecting Florida heat .
