I should know the answer to this, and I don't. Can we DAS shows that have FP like Indiana Jones or Beauty &Beast at HS?

Also, am I understanding it correctly that for ECV at Indiana Jones at HS we wait in the normal lines (not a separate entrance) but when we get to the seating area they split to a reserved section? When we took my dad, I seem to recall that he parked his ECV before we got in the FP line and just stood. And I don't know why, but I seem to recall thinking that Indiana Jones line was really tedious and winding. This time we're taking a different person with an ECV, and I think she needs to stay in her ECV during the line. How does that work at Indiana Jones?

Is the Beauty & Beast ECV situation at HS straightforward? Anything to know there?

So the DAS is for my ds, who has autism and who is extremely challenging in lines, and the ECV is for my adult friend, who can't stand on concrete or walk distances or walk stairs without rails. I'm pretty sure she'll need to stay in her ECV for IJ. She could transfer. I'll have to see how people are for the bleachers at B&B, haven't asked yet.

Any attraction that utilizes FP+ (off-topic, but maybe it's time to lose the +) allows DAS return times.

Indiana Jones and Beauty and the Beast both have wheelchair/ECV spaces in the back row, with adjacent seating for one companion. Remaining party members sit in the row ahead. BatB also has extremely limited space for mobility devices in the front row as well.

At any attraction, simply approach the Greeter for directions, access, return times, etc.

I was given the choice when we went to see BatB last year to either sit at the back of the theatre, or to come right down to the front, leave the ECV in a parking area just outside the actual auditorium and then walk over to the front row to watch. We decided to go to the front (we've watched it from the back previously). After the show we just collected our ECVs (I think there were about 5 parked up) and slowly made our way up the ramp with our respective families.

We haven't actually been into Indiana Jones for years, so I haven't seen it since hiring the ECV.

At Finding Nemo, we can't remember whether we FP'd it, DAS'd it or just turned up half an hour early. We were directed to the back row and I parked up there to watch the show while DD sat on the bench next to me. Likewise we watched Fantasmic from the back right hand side where the disabled section is. We technically had a good view, but we were a long back way.

At Festival of the Lion King we've usually had FP and were in the FP queue, but one time we turned up when the auditorium was nearly full, but they found room to tag me onto the side of one of the front rows with DD sitting next to me.

Every time there has been room in the disabled section so technically we haven't really needed FPs at all for any of them.

  • Beauty and the Beast at Hollywood Studios Has accessible seating both in the very front and very back of the theater. Ask the CM at the rear of the theater who is directing seating. The level of the stage is at floor height for the front row, so you may need to crane (stretch)your neck.
  • Fantasmic at Hollywood Studios This is a night show, with the majority of the wheelchair seating at the top row. There are a few spots in the very front row. If you want to request them, be prepared to come early (an hour or more, depending on the crowd) and be prepared to get wet from spray from water screens and spray during certain parts of the show.
Follow the link in my signature to the disABILITIES FAQs thread. The first post in that thread is an index that lists the information each post contains. Post 34 on page 2 of that thread has information about wheelchair/ECV seating for all shows.
