DAS for rides only?

Can you only use the DAS for rides only or can you use it for other things like parades etc - parades and fireworks now have fast passes available - can you use DAS on these or are you required to get a fast pass? Thanks.

I don't know if I've read of anybody using them for parades or fireworks so I'm really not sure but I suspect the answer is no you can't use it for those. If those are something you're interested in then use FP+ for them and use the DAS for attractions.

I think I've read somewhere of someone using it at Fantasmic, which is why I thought about it.

One of the rules of thumb is that DAS can be used for things with Fastpass or posted wait times (not including characters that don't offer Fastpass)

I know it can be used for Fantasmic at the Studio.
I don't know for sure, but am quite certain it can't be used for parades or Illuminations. Those areas have limited numbers of spots and have always been first come, first served.
So, getting a spot may mean coming to the area well before the parade/show begins.
