DAS during extra magic morning ?

Are DAS return times issued during extra magic mornings? I know FP lines are not open at that time, but I have been watching the MK on the app and at 8:15 the wait for Mine Train was at least 45 mins. Will they issue you a return time? I mean if the idea is provide equal & fair access I'm not sure why you wouldn't give someone a return time any time the ride is operating. thanks

For the paid event the lines are kept very short ( they use the FP lines anyways) most are walk on. If you are not talking about the paid event then yes they do the DAS for EMH but for paid event the lines are too short

If for the paid event and the line is long talk to the CM but from what I heard they are walk on maybe 5 minute wait.

Just re read your post and I have gotten return times a number of EMH morning for 7DMT. with no problem at all

Thanks. Yes I meant the free early morning time for hotel guests. I had read someplace (I thought) that there wasn’t DAS since there wasn’t FP at that time. Glad to hear. I know most rides we won’t need it but 7DMT and SM seem to be busy.

I have used my DAS for 7DMT( at lest 5 times if not more) SDD FOP space mountain TT If I think I could probably add some more thst I have used my DAS during the mornings or evening EMH.

So, just to clarify for anyone who may be reading...

Extra Magic Hours (EMH) is the additional park time allowed to on-site guests and those staying at a few select non-Disney hotels. This free to those staying at a participating resort/hotel, though does require a regular park ticket. EMH are scheduled select mornings prior to official park opening time, or select evenings after the park officially closes.

Early Morning Magic (EMM) is a paid event offered select mornings before park opening. It requires a park ticket as well as essentially an ADR. A few rides are open and attendees also are entitled to a breakfast.

OP is apparently asking about EMH.

I've never been able to get a clear answer from CMs or Guest Services. FoP CMs have told me that they do issue DAS times during EMH but realistically I would not be able to be at the beginning of the rush to get a decent return time and I've read where the line is longer at the beginning of the day compared to later. I choose to pair getting a DAS time there with a Navi FP so I don't have to walk as far. Those FoP CMs also told me that many of the popular e-ticket rides likely give out DAS return times during EMH.

Recently I did an EMH rope drop and rushed over to Soarin. They wouldn't give out DAS return times until the wait time reached 20 minutes or more. I'm not very confident on the precision of their wait times during the rush immediately following rope drop (20 min. can easily be 30 min. during a rush I'm guessing) so on my second ride I just waited until the time had crept up past that mark and rode Living with the Land in between Soarin' rides.

I tend to avoid e-ticket rides during EMH in favor of some favorites. Dumbo is often empty enough that you can just stay on and ride for multiple times if you get there during the first 30 minutes of EMH.
