Has anyone had any luck since they swapped to the new system getting approved for medical disabilities? I don’t need your specifics, and am definitely not looking to game the system. I have a imminently pending solo trip, and basically need to know how they have been treating medical disabilities so I can plan accordingly.

If you scroll down a bit in this group there is an approval/denial thread. I suggest reading through there. Some have been approved and some have been denied. It’s not based on your disability exactly, but Disney has changed DAS and stated it’s mainly meant for developmental disabilities (like autism or similar). I just don’t want you to think just because you have a disability you will be eligible for DAS, as that is no longer the case.

I know the changes, and am aware of that thread. The reason I posted a separate thread was specifically due to leaving as early as this coming weekend, so I’m really trying to figure out if it’s worth even trying for.

This is a link to the DAS approval/denial thread the previous poster mentioned.
I'm going to copy your post to that thread and close this one. We are trying to keep discussion on that subject in one place as much as possible.

After you are in that thread, you can search it for keywords, like 'physical' . Go to the Search (magnifying glass) near the top right of this board. Type in your word(s) to search, then choose 'in this thread' to find references in that thread
