We don’t have magic bands since we are staying off property. We will have two days in the parks, possibly a third if we can handle the first two okay.

would it be better to have magic bands to scan for DAS return times rather than the constant handling of tickets? Thinking in terms of cleanliness. There are 5 of us but only one child has the DAS.
Thank you!

We prefer to use the magic bands. Our last trip Christmas of 2019 4 of us had magic bands but my 6 year old did not. We were a party that included my mom who uses a manual push wheelchair my 2 big girls 11/12 and my six year old who uses her stroller and had a wheelchair tag.

It was a little frustrating and anxiety inducing for me to have to get everyone through the line and keep track of her ticket, because my 12 year old pushed her stroller while I pushed my mom who is the das user.

I didn’t trust the 12 year old (lost her universal ap at universal earlier in the week) and definitely not the 6 year old to hold onto it. This caused a bit of a problem because she wanted to feel involved and make the Mickey glow like the big girls. With magic bands it simplifies things a bit and less chance of misplacing your card. Remember the das user has to go first but everyone who rides must scan their bands/tickets to ride.
