Darth Vader at SSW?

Can someone who was there this year tell me where Darth Vader was, if he was there? My son really wants his pic with him and I know the line with grow very long, very fast.

He is in Soundstage 1 (I think it's called), on Mickey Ave, where Sorceror Mickey usually is. We got there pretty close to park opening and it was a 30 minute or so wait. Vader took 1 5-minute break while we were in line. I think seeing him was my DDs favorite part. She is giggling in the pictures, but it looks like she is scared, so it's too cute.


Hope I had the name of the place right. Have fun! It was mobed last weekend. May go back next weekend to catch what we missed.

Darth was also in the 11am parade. The lines for meeting him were pretty long. However if your son is really keen it'll be worth it. Also down Mickey Ave they had some Stormtroopers.....and Boba Fett, who was awesome. My DS4 had a great photo taken with him. We didn't do so well for characters on Friday, there didn't seem that many about when we were there, which was a little disappointing. Got Boba and Chewie, so I was happy. The Jedi Anakin over in the Star Tours area was very good, a really good likeness of the actor.

That's the picture that made me ask the question
Last year he was by Star Tours and it was HOT!!! We will head there so find him. DS really wants a pic with him. He didn't want to wait in the hot sun so maybe this year with be better.

Was Boba Fett in a designated spot for him, or just out and about? He is my nephew's #1 favorite character and finding him will be high on our list!

I don't know if Darth Vader will be at Super Soap Weekend (SSW), but I'm pretty sure he'll be at Star Wars Weekend (SWW).

I hope he is, too, because my boys want to meet him.

We're hoping to see him tomorrow!! My grandson got all the other autographs and pics last weekend, but were too late for Vadar. We're going to get his pic first, then ToT and RnRC!!!!

Boba was in a spot on Mickey Avenue, though I got the impression from CM's that he might have been interchangable with other characters. Best bet is to go down Mickey Avenue and ask a CM if you don't see him. There looked like there were four or so special spots down there (they had a marker with a number on) but I only saw Boba and a Stormtrooper.

There are Star Wars characters year round but not nearly as much as during SWW.

We were there last Sat. and saw Boa Fett (sp?) on Mickey Ave. as well. When we walked back that way later on, there was a different character there, so my guess is they switch them out. This area was right across from where you meet Darth Vader.

We were there yesterday. Darth Vader was at the places listed above, also, he was fighting the young ones (under 12 yrs old) Jedi training. Also, the kids doing Jedi training were given cloaks to wear during the training. So now my son really wants a cloak!

Yep, Mickey Avenue is where they put all the characters from the Empire. It changes every so often from Storm Troopers to Bobba/Jango Fett, et al.
