Darling Husbands!!

It's an interesting and fine line that's walked between being helpful and supportive--to one another--to someone (regardless of whether it's the husband or wife) who throws up their hands in apathy and disinterest to say, "you do it, since you do it soooo well."

Haven't had my suitecase packed for me since I was a wee lad, and I would never need, ask, or "smooth talk" my wife to "mommy me" by doing so.

Another DH here. In our case, I do all the planning for our trips. I would like more input from the family but it is not their thing. I know what they like and make sure everyone gets something special they will look forward to each trip. So far, so good. No complaints yet.

As for packing, I'm a guy so I can pack for a week long trip in less than an hour! :rotfl2:

No offense, but could you have created your own monster?:rotfl2:

How long have you been packing for this guy? When did that start?

Not that I'm one to talk. My husband packs his own clothes and personal necessities, but I'm vividly remembering our last visit to the Beach Club. He was sitting at his computer oblivious to my racing against the clock, gathering stuff from everywhere, to get our Owner's Locker crammed to the brim before check-out (as well as pack all my own stuff). Oh well, at least our kids are grown and I don't have to pack all their stuff too anymore.

So word to the wise all you newlyweds.......:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DH travels for business and does his own packing. He's done in about 5-10 minutes. It takes me much longer and I'm more apt to miss something. Maybe he just doesn't notice if he's missing something, but he really does "make do." This past vacation with the extended family, he did most of the laundry too!:goodvibes
