Ok so I purchased some dark transfer paper because I was told that on light transfer paper all the white areas are clear and on dark paper all white areas are white....including non-printed sections. I ironed the dark transfer paper onto a red shirt with the saying "It's a Disney thing, you wouldn't understand"
The image came out fine but the white background behind the black words turned from white to a light red color [not quite as red as the shirt but it definetly changed to match the color of the shirt]
Does anyone know what happened with this? The shirt is not ruined, it looks fine, it's just not the effect I was expecting. I have some other deisigns i'd like to do and keep the background white. Any help appreciated!
