Is it just me or are the rides at DL significantly darker than their WDW counterparts? E.g. I had no problem with ISO 1600 and f1.8 at POTC at WDW yet ISO 3200 and f1.4 give me worse results at DL? I was just wondering if that was me....

The only good thing - Hat Box Ghost is so brightly lit that he's quite an easy shoot, even at ISO 1600 and 1.4.

Last summer, I noticed a lot more traditional light bulbs at DL, in areas that WDW converted to LED years ago. (Which seemed amusing because I figured a California park that caters to locals would be more energy conscious.)

Oh that would probably explain it. New additions like Hat Box Ghost or the refurbished Alice ride I had no problem shooting. But POTC and HM otherwise were giving me a really hard time getting anything usable at all. Even IASW where I used f2.8 in the past was a bit of a problem.
