Dark circles under eyes

Not sure where would post this but I figured the dis health board would be best! Does anyone here suffer from dark under eye circles and if so has you found a way to cure them? I have been battling dark under eye circles all my life and I read so many different things online. Just wondering if anyone here has found something that works?

i had a sinus infection once and my doc told me one symptom he saw was "raccoon eyes" much darker bags under me eyes than normal

right now i just faithfully use mositurizer morning and night, making sure my daytime has sunscreen in it. I read once that exfoliating face wash is a must to ward off bad eye aging effects.

I started drinking extra water and read some more natural treatments like ground cucumber and lemon juice and I do have bad allergies which I am sure doesn't help I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this and found something that works. I use a good moisturizer and I always use sunscreen

All my life! In middle school one brat asked me why I had two black eyes. I said I didn't, and he said why are they so dark? Really good for a middle schooler to hear.

The only thing I have noticed is mine are much darker on nights when I don't get adequate sleep- a problem for a grad student. If there is another solution for when I do get enough sleep, I would love to hear it!
