Dare I say it --- found the whole 'pin trading' thing rather annoying

I have a lanyard and wore it for the first time (with many pins) at WDW for five days and only one little girl asked to trade. I don't trade my pins, I like to wear them! Since the Land has more traders in a concentrated area, I think I will just wear them on my clothes, here and there. Never had one fall off, by the way.
