So after approximately 1.25 hours of sleep, a dear friend shows up at 6am to shuttle us to the airport. Knowing us all too well; he knew we wouldn't have time to eat breakfast. He brought along donuts and OJ for the ride! We Love
our friends!!!
Smurfette looks like she's a coffee craving zombie
just like us.
After the plane was de-iced I planned on only being awake long enough to snap the following two shots. As fate would have it we were sat next to Doreen, a huge Disney fan and sweet to boot. Unfortunately, she also loved to talk which threw a wrench in our plans of sweet dreams of the days to come.
There it was! The Florida sunshine, we made it!!
Cristina, an amazing friend of ours, arrived at the airport with this homemade sign and lots of energy!! Her bubbly demeanor quickly made us forget about all the trials we survived to get to this point and once again made us excited about our pending wedding!
The three of us headed for a relaxing lunch at Panera and then to Downtown Disney to visit with some old friends. We put Cristina in charge of getting us out in time. Luckily, we had a lot more time than we realized because its a lot more difficult to say goodbye to someone after only seeing them for an hour when its been a year since your last visit.
She then escorted us to my parents' room at the Port Orleans resort, where we passed out our welcome bags. They were a huge hit!
We visited for a few minutes before we had to turn around and pick up Patrick's friend from the airport. I was hoping Andy would be just as tired as us, but after flying in from England he was wide awake.
We all headed to Boma for an always incredible dinner. Did you know the stopped serving potatoes with afrituted?
Such a bummer, they were my favorite! I wasn't very involved in the conversation, in fact I don't remember much else of the night because I was just awake enough to function. I felt bad, but had plenty of time to make it up to them!
