Apparently G+ sold out yesterday and rumors online say today too! Really hoping my parents can buy it when we go to the parks Jan. 1-4. They did not buy it when they bought their tickets - despite me telling them too.

Thinking more locals since keys can be used next week and maybe they don't buy G+ as much....and rain in the forecast too.

Talk me down - this will be ok right????

Thanks all :-)

Get there early and it won't be an issue.

Next week lots of kids are back in school starting the 3rd. Won't be bad after that.

I somehow didn't realize it could sell out. But even if you can't get it, you'll be ok and have fun. Our June trip was level 9 crowds but we only bought Genie+ for 3 of the 5 days and still managed to go on alot of rides.

the days between christmas and new years are always the busiest. Next week you will be fine

Near as I can tell, it sold out around 1.30pm PST on the 28th. Haven't been able to find times for other sold out days.

It also looks like the daily rate for those days was $30.00. Ouch!!! Assuming a 'who knows if this is the real number but we'll guess it is' max crowd of 60K, if only 3/4 the people in the park bought G+, that's $1.3M per day in Disney's coffers.

I don’t think they can sell Genie+ to 3/4 of capacity. It wouldn’t be useful.

$30 is cheap when you compare to other parks.
