I LOVE EPCOT!!!!

But the funny thing is that we usually spend most of our time in the world showcase. There is a ton of stuff in future world you did that we have never even walked past! We need to do that next time.

Good call on the puppet. I have a unicorn that is a pain! I spend about an hour untangling that darn thing and then my kids spend about 2 seconds tying it back into a knot!

I'm glad you got to spend the day w/ Tanya & Alicia at Epcot. I'm jealous...wish I was there! You guys are great friends to Alicia though and so glad you were there with here during the phone call. You all look beautiful, as always!

We slept in again today...let me just say this is the way we will do it from now on, If we go whiel crowds are low...It is sooonice not getting up at 7 everyday while on vacation.
Okay okay, so anyway Here are the boys in the room before we heaed out.

When we arrived at Ak we were all hungry so we went streight to Flame Tree BBQ..It was very good last year so we decided to go back. I found this quite lil sitting area in teh back of Flame tree, where you had a great visual of EE!!

and we stopped here to get a pic...Then headed out of Flame tree!

We walked around a bit, had some photopass pics taken and had a restoom break..The kids loved this little wishing well.

After that we went on Kali..Its sooo funnt because I put on my poncho so I wouldnt get wet, well Dane was like "oh your a sis, you wont get that wet, its not a big deal"..LOL.......Well here he is after the ride. HAHA

We went directly to EE and only had a few minutes wait. I was soo stoked that Javen could ride this year!! YAY HE was just as excited about it as I was!

We heaed towards Dino land and Javen had been asking to get his face painted, so we finally gave in...Here is my baby transforming into a lion ( he wanted to be a lion, like lion king- he's soo funny)

We rode the rides there in dino land then stopped in the gift shop - Where we ended up spending like 200.00..on a potato head, a key chain, my Jack skellington mug, some goodies, and WHO KNOWS what else!

We spotted these guys on teh way to ride dinosour!

After nemo we decided to grab a milkshake at a CS...THIS IS WHERE SOME EXCITING STUFF HAPPEND!! We were just sitting there enjoying our snacks when 2 CMs approched us at the table and asked where we were from, how we were enjoying our stay etc etc.....They then asked if we were gonna stick around for the parade..Dane looked at me and I said " Nah, I think were just gonna do the safari and head out". The CM said " well how about you go do the safari, then meet us over by the employees only enterance AKA The big brown backstage gate (by safari), and you will get to be IN THE PARADE!! I was like " well YEAH, we can do that"!! How exciting! Not sure if it was concidered a "DREAM", but it was the closest we had come to it.

Sooo, we did teh safari- another first for us!!

After the safari we were excited to go to "THE GATE"! here are teh boys waiting for the CMs to take us back to whatever was beyond that gate!

When we got back there we were directed to a special area just for people selected to be in the parade, here they gave us vests and hats to wear SORRY NO PICS ALLOWED BEYOND THE GATE.
We boarded our float and the CM took a pc of us with a disposable camera and then handed it to us to take pictures with...I have yet to get those developed.

THERE IS SOOO MUCH THATGOES ON BACK THERE! We saw the people getting into costume, getting on stilts, getting there floats ready, We saw ALL the charecters that are in the parade, they all came up and played with the boys.......it was a expeiance I will never forget!!

What a amazing experiance, let me tell ya! I have many pics on Photopass of this parade and I will post when I get the CD! It was sooooo awsome.


After the parade the park was closing so we heaed for our bus stop, we were running late for our ADR at WCC

We made it to WL and I got us checked in at WCC with little wait...Here are the boys playing

Dinner was fabalous! We were seated in the back of the resturant but I WAS TOTALLY OKAY WITH THIS! I almost covered my ears on the way to the table, it was THAT loud!! We enjoyed every minute of dinner, looking at the beautiful Lodge!

After dinner we went to our room and chamged into our suits and went swimming in the Villas pool...It was VERRA VERRA NICE!

This pool has little bubbly geyser type things in it
Such FUN!

After that we went to the beach to catch the pagent again BUT we had to leave due to all the masquitos! It was absolutly awful!!!!!!!!

We decided againt the padgent and jsut headed up to the room....It had been one exciting, fun filled day and we were ready for bed!

I'm so happy for you and your family. I can't believe you got to ride in the parade. I've always seen families, but I never knew how they got picked. That is so cool. That's a memory you can't imagine happening and will never forget. Congratulations again.

Looks like you guys had an amazing day at AK. The parade must have been so fun for the boys. BTW, don't know if you remember me telling you to look for that hidden seating area at Flame Tree or not but it looks like you sat at the exact same table as my family, awesome view! As I 've been reading your tr I've finally realized that part of the reason your trip must have been so relaxing is..........NO EXTENDED FAMILY!!!! Can't wait to hear more.

Not a dream? Ha. That's better than most of the YOAMD "dreams". How cool! I always wondered how they chose the people to be in that parade. Now I know. What a great memory! I showed my kids Javen's painted face and now they wanna do it. It's so darn cute. Why didn't Heath do it?

This was your first Safari? How did that happen? I thought everyone went to the AK FOR the Safari!? Well, how did ya like it????
