Dancing?

My husband had a broken foot for our 2007 trip to Universal, so our only City Walk experience was the comedy club (and there were only 10 people there...felt bad for the comedian!). We're going to Universal in February 2011 and I'd like to go dancing. Where would you recommend and what is the appropriate dress?

We've never been "clubbing" or anything so we have no idea what to expect. Enlighten us rural Mainers!

I didn't see any replies, so i'll try and help out a little bit.

In general, It'll depend mostly on what type of music you are into. There are several clubs/bars at Citywalk to choose from. Out of all of them though, I think GROOVE is the only real dance club there, and their music type will vary depending on the night.

That being said, several other of the bars will have music of different types with a smaller dance floor along with the bar and food that may be available.


What kind of night are you looking for? something more relaxed where you can enjoy the music while sitting and drinking? People watching? Atmosphere?

Also, what kind of music do you like? hip-hop? Dance? Dueling pianos? Latin? 80's classics?


We might be able to offer up some better suggestions for you if we had a better understanding of your tastes.
