I'll share an ice cream with you, Denise. :)

There was a time when you couldn't pay me to get on that ride, but after the first time I rode it I fell in love with it and couldn't wait to ride it again.

I'm not a big scary ride rider, the fear of death isn't my favorite feeling. That's why I like this ride, there's no fear of death, just a fun ride.

I love this one! I can't wait for it to be finished at California Adventure - we'll be making a special trip for that!

I did it once and don't ever plan to do it again. It wasn't exactly what I would call scary, I just don't like things that jerk and lurch.

I'll ride ToT until they're kicking me out of the park. I liked it until I rode in the seatbelt seat.....now I love it. :)

Hey Rajah,
Save me a seat on that bench! I rode ToT once, on my honeymoon. DH cajoled me on, "Look, that kid's probably 8 years old. Are you gonna let an 8-year old show you up?"
Darn 8-year old. I screamed and cried and left a permanent nose imprint on DH's shoulder. Suddenly I was a big 'ole baby and the 8-year old was indeed showing me up. The sniffles continued long after we exited that ride.
However, you couldn't extract me from RnR. I could ride that again and again... on our last trip we rode multiple times in a row. So, the "vertical stuff" scares me to death, but launch me at 60+ mph in a little under 3 seconds, hurtle me through loops and corkscrews, and set a rockin' soundtrack to it all and I'm beaming from ear to ear.:p

OK scaredy-cats, I get motion sickness on Body Wars, don't care for Space Mountain, wanted to love RnRCoaster but was kinda queasy for several hours after, TOT ROCKS! This is one masterpiece of an attraction. If you enjoyed the Twilight Zone tv show, and the kind of details and effects you see in the Haunted Mansion, PLEASE give this ride a chance. To me this may be the #1 attraction in all of Disney. The drops are only part of the fun, and the drops really are fun--you float a bit, but it isn't scary.

I am going to ride it. I love rides but not the drop things but its Disney so I will give it a try.

Our whole family loves ToT and RnR! I can't wait to ride it with the new drop sequences! :)

I rate it a 1 on the "scary" scale and 11 on the "fun" scale. I love this ride

I thought it would be a 10:eek:

But, during my first ride, I realized it's about a 2:p

It is about an 8 or 9 on the scary scale. Ted gets panic attacks just before the drop! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

I hate drops so this one scares me. :( I really, really want to get brave enough the ride it again though.

I personally LOVE it! - it's not really scary since you know you'll be fine & not get hurt. It is a thrill for the drops and going through the beginning of the ride is awesome. The effects are great.

As far as the drops go, when you only get dropped a little way & it zips you back up then drops you all the way to the bottom, it takes your breath away because it's so unexpected. If you like a thrill (and truthfully, you'll be safe), this is a GREAT RIDE!

I'd give it an 11 on the thrilling side & a 0 on the scary side.

My 11 year old loves this ride, my 8 year old won't even consider it (but then again, he won't go on Splash Mountain either) and my 5 year old daughter thinks it's totally unfair that she can't go on because she's too small!

HTH,
Jackie

I'd rate it a 1 on scary, too. I used to be scared to death of thrill rides but now I'll ride anything.

SCARY! I am terrified of heights, drops, enclosed spaces, etc. But I talked myself into trying the ride, even though I will not convince myself to ride some of the others. Anyway, I kept reminding myself that it was a controlled environment and it was safe. So, I made it through just fine. My husband on the other hand almost had a heart attack. And he has always liked thrill rides.

Would I ride it again? Yes, as long as I had someone to go with me. I sure have come a long way.

Riding ToT even gave me the boost I needed to finally ride BTMRR! (Only after I watched the ride for about 20 minutes to make sure it didn’t have anything too scary for me.)
