I just noticed this in yesterdays Dallas Morning News (why didn't I read it yesterday? ).

Meet the voice of Alice, Kathryn Beaumont, of the Walt Disney Classic, Alice in Wonderland today, Wednesday, January 28th from 3:30pm to 4:30pm at

She will be autographing Alice DVD's and posters.

Wish I'd seen your post earlier - it's a little late for me to head over there at this point. She was also Wendy's voice in Peter Pan. Are you going or did you go see her, RhondaS?

We couldn't make it but would love to hear a trip report

She was a very, very lovely woman with the most charming British accent (imagine that, huh).

We arrived just as she road up in the limo. There were approximately 40 to 50 people ahead of us. Ms. Beaumont promptly began signing at 3:30, but we literally didn't move from our spot in line for at least 15, if not 20 minutes. She was taking time to talk and sign, talk some more, sign some more. The first 20 or so people in line must have really gotten a treat.

As time went on, they started announcing only 1 item per person to speed things along. We got our signatures right at 4:30, but couldn't take any time to speak as they were trying to hurry us along.

During the wait, Radio Disney gave away a few DVD's.

Idiot that I am, forgot to take the camera out of my purse and take pictures. DOH!

Thanks for the report, RhondaS. Too bad I couldn't make it over there. I would have been just as excited to meet another DISer as I would have been to meet Kathryn Beaumont.
