Dairy free ice cream on the Dream?

Does the Dream have any dairy free ice cream available? My daughter has a dairy intolerance so just wondering if she will have any ice cream available other than the Dole Whips at the bars.

I've never had any luck getting sorbet in the main dining rooms. Sometimes they try to give my son sherbet thinking it's the same as sorbet, but it's not. Sherbet has dairy in it. My son has been offered a soy based ice cream though. Don't remember if Vanelope's had anything dairy free.

I just found some allergy-friendly menus on the Disney Cruise Line Blog that shows an assortment of Coconut milk frozen treats in each of the dining rooms. Does anyone have any experience with those? I will be honest, the allergy-friendly menus look amazing! The variety is far superior to the options my daughter has had on other cruises. She has both a dairy and a wheat sensitivity, so most cruise lines seem to struggle at that. I have high hopes for Disney. I know if prior cruises, they have done amazing. We sailed B2B2B on the Dream in December 2019.

While we did notorder form the new allergy menus they have in the MDRs, I did appreciate that DCL having them meant more options were available for us. I am ana milk, tree nuts, peanut, seafood, and avoid many others.

In the MDRs there are fruit sorbets available. IRRC over the course of the cruise we got mango and raspberry.

From the allergy menus in the MDRs, there is a vanilla coconut-milk-based dairy-free "ice cream" available, that is usually part of a larger dessert; presumably you could order it on its own. It looked and tasted like So Delicious brand coconut milk vanilla frozen dessert.

On the pool deck in Frozone they have Pineapple Dole Whip, which is dairy-free, for a fee. The consistency is slightly different than in the parks because it uses a different machine so it is not as frozen.
