I am trying to come up with a good order to do things. At IOA, Harry Potter first if it's open, I know that, but what next? Rip Ride Rocket?

We'll have the Universal Express, so is a plan even really necessary?

Rip Ride Rockit is in Universal Studios. Harry Potter is in IOA. If your goal is HP then you'd want to do the IOA things first, then maybe head over to US later. What you see next depends on a lot of variables: who will be with you, what you like to do, etc. Since you mentioned HRRR then you'd probably be interested in The Hulk, Spiderman and Dueling dragons, all rides in IOA. What is your goal for your visit besides Harry Potter?

Unless you are staying onsite the Express Pass is good for one visit to each ride. If one ride is all you're interested in then no, a plan isn't really necessary.

We'll be onsite. I'm interested in all the thrill rides, and a lot of other stuff. The more I read, the more I want to do. :rolleyes1 It's just me and my dad this trip. I tried to get him to look at the website today, and the only thing he said was he does not want to see Barney. :lmao: There seems to be so much stuff.

How many days will you be spending at the parks & what month will you be there?

In the past, we've been in Aug. & June & stayed on site. We found we didn't really need a touring plan like we did at WDW, because the express pass worked so wonderfully. I'm sure it's going to be quite a bit more crowded when we go this summer, but I'm thinking/hoping that if we hit WWOHP 1st, then everything else will just sort of fall in place. Of course I'm going to keep my eyes on these boards to see what others have to say once WWHOP opens.

Hope you have a great trip!

If you're staying onsite, do what you want and take your time. It's as simple as that with unlimited Express access.

Metro's right, the EP changes everything. If you keep checking back on this forum you will know the status of Harry Potter before you get to the parks. If it has no EP line you will still want to be down at the turnstile before 9am, how early is another thing you will get an idea of as time goes on.

The other advantage is that you can do all the thrill rides in the morning while it is relatively chilly then head back to your hotel, change into swimwear and return for the water rides, which will be a blast. since you have an EP you can ride them as many times as you want. Then go back, change again and you're good to go for the rest of the day.
