Daily Grind--Holiday edition Happy Thanksgiving

Apply Thanksgiving!!

Turkey is roasting, just waiting for DH to get out of work to eat
Dessert is ready
Most dishes prepped and ready to do this afternoon

Thanks to everyone for being here daily for advice, companionship, great craft ideas, motivation and, of course, shared Disney love!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

I got up at 9AM and start a lot of items... We will eat about 1:30pm for our immediate family (no one wanted to travel but wanted us to travel so I opted to just stay home... I should not have to do all the traveling for every holiday--- just a peeve of mine)... Then DsS22 and his gf will be here about 5pm to have dinner (leftovers --- sorry not making a 2nd meal today)... They will stay for a while before they have to head home because she has to work tomorrow and I bet he does too..

I have a few more items to prep but decided to take a break for a while... I need DS13 to mop the kitchen yet today because he "forgot" yesterday...

I need to take over the tv soon.. I am NOT watching DIY shows all weekend for DH to get ideas that he will not finish...


I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!!! Enjoy your family time.. We are taking time after lunch to start our Disney planning... I have my binder ready and need to update some pieces to it and start organizing....

Oh, and yesterday we got great news here... no, my car isn't done yet..
DD -- was accepted into the amigo program at her university... she will be helping the incoming students register for classes and go through orientation!!! She moves in a week before DS17... So it will be two trips... but that is okay...
She also was given a third and final interview for a few open RA positions.. Everyone please say a prayer as she really, really would love this opportunity...

Take DS17 to the Turkey Trot 4.5 mile run
Boil Sweet potatoes
Cut potatoes and start cooking them
Help DS17 with his apple pie
watch Miracle on 34th street original first, then new version
Green bean casserole in at 1:30
dinner next door at 3
take my grandma home
30 minute run
cuddle in front of the fire with the hubby and kiddos

Happy Thanksgiving to all my new friends in the creative department! Just put the turkey in the oven! Only my 4th or 5th turkey in 41 years of marriage! Usually Christmas is our Holiday at our house, and that is not turkey....... Hope everyone has a Happy day!
