Daily fee for resort health club?

Last time we stayed at AKL there was a daily fee to use the health club. When we considered booking this trip, they said the fee was waived. We are staying at BC in Sept. Is there a fee to use the health club there? What about the other deluxe resorts?

the Health club at WL (Sturdy Branches...gotta loves the name!) was free when we went in June. Used it 4 times with DS16

I believe the health clubs are now free for the use by guests of the hotel. This happened around June 1, 2004. I remember because we happened to be in the middle of our stay at the BC last year when it went into effect.

Wanted to add that Polynesian guests can now use the GF health club for free as well.
