Dahlia Lounge questions

Hi all...considering a special trip to Coronado just to check out Dahlia Lounge.

Is it worth it? Is the view and decor worthy of a special trip? Most importantly, being that they don't take ADR's, are we looking at a 2 hour wait in the evening?

First, I don't think they are even open right now so be sure to check before you make that special trip.

To your question about view and decor, yes its special. Some really nice views from up there. You can get a seat on the balcony or inside. The decor is "interesting" but probably not worth a special trip. We've never seen a wait to get in but we are usually there early (5-6-ish) before dining at Toledo.

It's open 7:00 pm to midnight. I'm in a CSR group. Someone checked in yesterday and she took a picture of the times of the lounges/restaurants that are open.

Dahlia Lounge has been open nightly since CSR reopened.

Sat at the bar in November - absolutely fantastic food and beverage.

I can’t comment on the wait, we were there shortly after opening and only a few other guests around. It gets so little discussion around the boards, I’m not sure what it’s like on a regular basis.

I may be falling into DIS hyperbole, but I really like Gran Destino Tower and Dahlia Lounge - the views from the outdoor balcony are great, the building is beautiful. I’m a fan.

Without reservations, though, it would be hard to pop in for dinner if you're driving and not staying there.... The menu looks wonderful!
