What's your typical trip like? Do you stick with your parents or do you do your own thing? I want my 16 and 14 yo sons to have a good time...how much freedom do you think I should give them?

Thanks.

what we normally do is spend the morning and afternoon together, then after dinner we split up. It works fine, as long as they promise to stay together.

What happends with me is if we have anything that we want to do as a family then i go in the morning. Then we split up. Some times (when we are there for long trips) i meet them for "the meal" of the day then i meet them back in the room and hour after the park closes. But on short trips if we do anything at all together then ist's when the park opens and then i am free till and hour after the park closes to get to the room. If i know i am going to be late i call them up at the room and leave a message. I have been doing this since i was 14 or 15 (so about 2 years)

When ever we have gone to parks (WDW, DL, 6 flags) it has gone like this: We will all go in together, then split up and meet again at a certin place. It is usually the older kids together and then the youngest with my parents. It has worked out best this way because no one is forced into going on rides or waiting in lines for something they don't want to do. If we are going to be apart for the whole day, mom will give us enough money to buy a lunch.

I usually stick with them about 98% of the trip
we do split up into girls and boys alot though
my mom and I have an obsession with the France movie and Si Xiang in China!!
my brother and dad go to baseball games and stuff!

I usually go off for one day by myself for a couple of hours and I usually meet one DISer a time and we go off together

so I stick with my family most of the time

Well it pretty much depends on what everyone wants to do. We always go into the park together and do a few things, and if my sister and I want to do something separate, will separate and meet back later. We usually split up and meet again a couple times during the day. We're probably with our parents like 50% of the time.

It depends, usually my mom and sister will split up from me and my dad and go back to the hotel or something. Sometimes they dont wanna go on a ride that I wanna go on.
