Dad's graduating and mom's 57th bday = let's all go to Disney, June 2011

Well he did it. Dad graduated on Friday with a Masters in Museum Studies. Someone might have yelled "way to go dad" from the crowd but who can tell who.

Back in December I saw that a company I have been wanting to work for was hiring a director position in my field - I'm currently a manager so this would be a step up for me and would head a department of 9. Well they only had a two week long announcement period and I only had about 3 days to get my application, resume and cover letter in their online database. I never heard anything other than their automatic response that my application was submitted.

On Friday, May 27th, I got an email from an acting director at the company that they would like to interview me if I was still interested in the position. What crazy timing.

I said I would be out of town June 2 -7th and so my interview is June 8.

I think this position is a long shot for me, they must be desperate to have emailed me! So I'm nervous about that and need to prepare for the interview which will be the morning after I get back from Disney and from driving 5 hours to pick up my dog from his "summer camp".

I better not get sun burnt on the trip - don't want to look unprofessional for the interview!

Followed you here from my TR, Looks like you have a great trip planned! I have stayed at CBR a couple times (as you can see in my sig) and it is beautiful. From what I remember the busses can get crowded in the morning if you are at one of the last stops. I don't remember the order but I know Martinique is usually the 1st, sometimes the 2nd one to pick up and drop off.

Bags are unpacked and laundry (8 loads) are done (but not put away yet!).
