Morning Allen,
Again, absolutely beautiful pictures. As your pictures have progressed, you can tell that Emily is getting more and more comfortable with the characters. I'm glad that you got pictures of the Grand Floridian. We had dinner there and I didn't take any pictures of the resort grounds.
Thanks, and yeah, she was getting better and better. She did seem to prefer the big, full-costume characters over the "face" characters, which is a bit odd as most little ones are more apt to see the face ones as less scary. Overall though she did great in that department.
The GF was beautiful and my pictures don't do it justice really.
Great update, as usual! I loved the Park Fare pics. Snow white was gorgeous - the prettiest Snow I've seen yet, to be honest. Alice wasn't too hot - her wig looked crooked.

Yay for Tigger & Pooh being there! That was awesome that you were able to get their autograph, and you can easily tell that Emily loves that Tigger baby. She's lit up like a Christmas tree in that photo! So cute, that one.
Yay for Pinnochio! I love that guy. When we were there for the
MVMCP in 2006, my little boy (not quite two at the time) danced (well, sort of) with Pinnochio! The video I have is so cute...so I'm partial to the guy.
She was a pretty Snow White, but she was
very rushed. The others (we saw Snow about 4-5 times we were there....) were a bit better at playing their role. I didn't notice Alice's hair until you mentioned it (I have an excuse, I'm male!) but yeah. She was very good though, so there's some saving grace. And Tigger... He was amazing and she loved every minute of it. Next to the Minnie pic (which is an obvious favorite), it's my favorite one. In fact, I had the Minnie one ask my desktop here at work, and the Tigger one as my desktop at home! (I switched the Minnie one out here for the one taken at The (Living) Seas where she is ecstatic looking at the fish).
Pinocchio was great. The reaction as she gave him a little kiss on the cheek (unprompted, by the way) was perfect. She actually recognized him as well, since she had seen that movie beforehand (Pinocchio and The Little Mermaid were it I think, along with some of the classic Mickey and Winnie the Pooh cartoons). She knows them all (well, most of them) now though, so next time will be even better!
Very good updates Allan. It is so hard to read the mind of a child. Just when you think they are all figured out, they change. Kinda like women. We will pretend I did not say that.
Have a good Monday.
Ginny
Thanks

. And I know ALL about trying to figure out how both of them think

. I have a good handle on it and Beth knows that. She also is great and works with me to make sure she gets what she wants... (erm, is that really a good thing? heh)
More great updates, but do I detect some disappointment in your voice as your tear up your imaginary TSM FP's?

Please tell us you got a chance to ride it?????
Sorry your breakfast wasn't that great at 1900 PF, but your pictures of Emily and the princesses are really great. And the GF - so majestic!
Sound like you hade a great MK day. I am curious to see how late the girls sleep in.
Thanks

and yes, there was
some disappointment in the imagined tearing up of the TSM FP. I typically am not a fan of MGM (Yes, I'm one of those!), so this was one of the few things I was looking forward to. I didn't mention it though, since I didn't want to push what I wanted on to them needing a break. As for whether I rode it or not, you'll have to stay tuned!
1900 PF was definitely a let down. I'd head there again, but probably not for breakfast unless I get a discount.

On to other news. I'm dropping LTT from my February plan. I had originally planned a lunch there, as the menu looked good. Unfortunately, I'll be there while it's not only a character meal, but also the "Thanksgiving Dinner" thing they do for dinner right now. I have no interest in that. I'm too picky of an eater and Thanksgiving has never been my favorite. Looks like I'll need another TS somewhere for that day. Luckily, I planned it on a day where I'm hopping between MK and AK, so I can use a resort meal as a stop over and not really have to struggle with transportation.
I would like Maya Grill, but they don't do lunch

Maybe I'll switch up and do a CS lunch and then have dinner at MG... hmmm. We shall see (I have until tomorrow morning to decide!), but if there are any other suggestions, let me know! (Just remember, solo, no buffet, picky eater (beef only), and Yak and Yeti doesn't interest me

) My original plan is back a few pages, I know I linked to it from the main post too.
