D23

Yeah, I'm passing too. I don't think there isn't much information I can get there that wouldn't eventually be leaked here.

I'm waiting to see if they sweeten the pot a little more. A few magazines and a convention in Anaheim doesn't clinch it for me. I would like to see discounts like on park tickets or food. That would be cool :cool2:

I've had an AP since 2004 and I'm still waiting for Disney to offer that to us. My other passes (Universal and Sea World) offer park discounts on food, merchandise and guest tickets but guess what? Disney doesn't offer those. :sad2:

Nope! Not me. I think the whole thing is.. well I will keep my comments to myself but I do think Disney has a lot of nerve. $75 is a lot of money for what looks like just a magazine subscription. They get enough of my money already. I don't need to spend $75 more to have the "privilege" to be a bigger fan. It is an insult.

well. if its not $75 on this, i'm sure i'd spend the $75 on something else! lol..

i'm such a nerd that the membership card and certificate are worth it all by themselves. i need a life!

Can someone please tell me...... WHAT is the point of D23?

I'm not being sarcastic. I just DON'T get it!

I'm not broke, I can afford $75.00......but am not sure just what I would be paying for.

Thats kind of how I feel about it-I am not really sure what the point is. What do I get out of it? It didnt look like much to me.

Bob Iger was on The View "explaining" it a couple of days ago, and I still didn't really understand what was in it for us...I mean, I just don't see that many perks to it.
