Well I got in the 1pm VQ… looks like it instantly filled at 1pm. But I got “backup group” 152 for MOG. Which makes me very skeptical I’ll get in there since I’m headed to Honda Center. Oh well.

I forgot. We were walking into muppets late. Alarm set for tomorrow.

Got the company store in the 1pm drop and already got called back so just need to do marketplace and Hollywood store tomorrow/sunday and I may go back to MOG tomorrow.

I wonder why the pin boarding groups are moving so much slower than non-pin… there’s less “selection” and everything is posted in advance!

If it's the same reason as years I went...people literally will compare every single pin to get the one with the least amount of "flaws." And instead of putting them in like a holding pen or giving people a time limit, we had to wait until the first folks in line were done examining everything to death

FWIW I brought in a protein bar and an uncrustable in my bag. Security said sorry, no food allowed and I told them I have blood sugar issues, so she waved me in. I didn't technically lie, as I do get migraines of I don't eat regularly, but it's not like I'm diabetic.

Some of the lines are getting shorter and I'm seeing more costumes this afternoon, but I didn't get any VQs at 1 and my MOG is probably going to get called when I'm at the Honda Center so I'm giving up.

OH! I did spot Josh D'Amaro as I was leaving the VoluntEARs booth about 2pm. He left before a line could form.

My friend was told she couldn’t bring her snack in either. She tried to say she has blood sugar issues, but no budge. But then they just put the food back in her bag. I snuck mine in in pants as usual. No one said anything.

There is Muppets stuff at Mickeys of Glendales. If you want some older stuff I saw a few Muppet collectibles at some vendors in the Emporium.

As for the chatter about snack, security didn’t say anything to me but I didn’t have anything excessive and I am type 1 diabetic so I do. Red snacks. Maybe I will put my insulin pens next to them tomorrow. Weird question for any other diabetics…. Did anyone have problems with their continuous glucose monitors? My Dexcom kept losing signal throughout the day as soon as I entered the convention center. That never happens. Just wondering if it was something with all the electronics and signals in here.

In an Uber over to the Honda Center. I decided I’d rather spend the money and get there early today to scope out the situation before maybe trying the shuttle busses the other nights. If it was going to be an hour-long line outdoors for a bus, I want no part of it.

Got here at 4:50. Minimal line (<50) at the South Entrance. Doors not open yet (supposed to be 5pm so that’s fine). Not as much as a madhouse as I feared, albeit I am hours early. Perhaps the fact that this cost a bunch of money and has no merch to sell keeps the scalpers away. The real menace. Lol.

Sadly, no. There was a video from her that was pretty cute and has been posted all over social media. I was hoping we might get Frank Oz, but no Muppet performers were there. Jodi Benson did surprise everyone at the end and sang some Miss Piggy song I can't remember the name of.
