Cypress Pointe and Starbucks?

I *thought* I read somewhere that Cypress Pointe is putting in a Starbucks . Is this just wishful thinking or is it fact? We were there last week and I noticed they were renovating their snack bar so I am hoping that means a starbucks is coming.

It would make it all so complete.

Didn't hear anything about that but YUM if they do!! We'll be there in June so hopefully if they are it will finished by then! What a great addition that would be. My DH would luv it and luv me for my great selection of a great property WITH a Starbucks!!

Yes, there is a new "Cafe Pointe" featuring Starbucks coffee currently in the design stages. It will be in the former convenience store/snack shop area in the Clubhouse next to the Volcano pool. It was expected to be open LAST year by June but it turns out licensing, engineering and design to meet all ADA and health requirements is far more involved than anyone knew. Right now the preliminary designs are done and being presented to the County for approval. They say construction will take 8-10 weeks so it may still make a June opening if everything moves along as hoped. Given the history so far I'd say July is a safer bet. I've seen the floor plan and drawings and can't wait to enjoy a morning coffee poolside. It should be a finishing touch to the recent lobby renovation work.
