I noticed that the price for a 3 bedroom villa in August is listed at $128 for Cypress pointe Grand Villas at Hotel kingdom and $114 for Cypress pointe resort at hotel kingdom. Hotel kingdom tells me the villas are newer and larger thus the price difference. But I believe that last week when I looked they were the same price. Is there really any difference and if I pay the extra dollars per night am I sure of getting the villas and not the older resort area. Trying to decide if it would be better to book the cheaper reservations at the resort or if I will regret it.

Don't know much about Hotel Kingdom, but they are correct on the differences of the resorts. I would pay the extra $$ and stay at the Grandvillas. There is another thread on here right now about CP. Read it to get more info.

Hi -

I booked Cypress Pointe through Hotels.com. I am going September 20th & I received a rate of $99.00/nightly.
When I checked Hotel Kingdom, they were more expensive. Just wanted to let you know. Enjoy your stay.

Any of those rates are a great price for CPGV! The three bedrooms are huge! Well worth it. Check Skyauction before you book, they might have your week up for auction. I got a one bedroom for $240.00 for the whole week on skyauction.
Also make sure that you don't have to listen to one of the timeshare speeches, it will say it under the rate if you ahve to.
